The company for professional craftspersons Karo Realizacje primed the floor twice with 2K-Aqua EP Primer 2373 before applying the bright lines with Floortec 2K-Purolid F 878 floor sealer. • In keeping with the light gray floor, Daniel Kwasiborski, owner of Karo Realizacje, also painted the walls a light gray. After he had applied two coats of Deep Penetrating Primer 595 using the roller method, Sedagloss 993 was used as the final coat.

  • Only the wall behind the checkout area was left in its raw, unfinished state. Using the same floor sealant as on the floor, he coated the striking area in yellow and transparent.

  • High-quality delicatessen paired with a health-conscious room concept. The Brillux products did the rest. This is because all the coating solutions used are low-emission, solvent-free and plasticizer-free.

When the interior design meets the high quality and ecological standards: The Delikatesy Zajezdnia Wrzeszcz delicatessen in the Gdansk settlement of the same name, which is geared towards sustainability and quality, is being transformed into a hip place-to-be by specialist craftsman Karo Realizacje. The interior design should reflect the high quality standards of the delicacies. This is why the color concept is just as important as the products themselves. The choice of the commissioned specialist tradesman Karo Realizacje was convincing – Brillux products were chosen because they are low-emission, solvent-free and plasticizer-free at the same time.

Brillux product selection convinces

“We achieved the optimum result with the Floortec 2K Purolid floor sealant from Brillux,” recalls owner Daniel Kwasiborski. The coating is convincing due to its appearance, its resistance to a high foot traffic and its simple application. To create the optimum conditions, Kwasiborski and his team primed the floor surface using a roller application process with 2K-Aqua-Basis 809. Thanks to the tinting of the product, a simple light gray ensures a timelessly aesthetic look. The color base is laid in two work steps.

To apply the desired floor symbols, Karo Realizacje prepares all relevant areas with appropriate templates. The Gdansk-based professional craftsman coated the open spaces with Floortec 2K-Purolid F 878. The yellow of the lines and symbols not only contrasts with the basic shade of gray, but is also particularly opaque thanks to the integration of the Brillux Basecode system. With the final coating, Kwasiborski once again gives the delicatessen a long-lasting look. Using Floortec 2K-Purolid T 876, he sealed the entire floor again using the roller process.

Walls and floors rolled, ceiling sprayed

Karo Realizacje first prepared all wall surfaces twice with Deep Penetrating Primer 595. He then applied the top coat with Sedagloss 993 using the roller method. The painting company finished the concrete wall behind the checkout area with Floortec 2K-Purolid F 878 and Floortec 2K-Purolid T 876 in the same way as the color designs on the floor. He first sprayed the ceiling, including the protruding installations, twice with Adhesion Primer 3720 using the airless method before finishing the ceiling with Superlux 3000.

The design concept is so successful that the delicatessen soon became a destination within the neighborhood. Thanks to the smooth cooperation of everyone involved, the store opened in April of the same year. The close relationship between Daniel Kwasiborski and Brillux sales consultant Daniel Orlowski paid off.
