In the new "Dom Jednorodzinny" building in Majdan, generous window areas, finely plastered walls, a concrete look and material contrasts interact to create a prestigious work of art. The craftsmanship of the painting company Budowlano Remontowej Pat&Mat, which was responsible for the design of the surfaces, played a major role in this.

Large-scale surfaces are a major challenge for painting companies if the finish is to be in a color shade that makes even the smallest irregularities and fingerprints visible. Many monochrome areas of the building were planned in a matt black surface in accordance with the customer´s wishes. The choice fell on Sensocryl 266 and Sensocryl 267, dull matt and silk matt pure acrylic interior emulsion paints for the design of wall surfaces, and Superlux 3000, a dispersion for walls and ceilings with grazing light incidence. Both products are characterized by good coverage and excellent application properties. The painting team used Sentimento 78 to perfectly continue the concrete look of the surfaces as a characteristic design element in many rooms.

Perfect surfaces also require perfect substrates. "The plaster surfaces were not ideal in places, which is why we prepared them for the final coat using Powerfill 1891 and Fiber Glass Filler Nonwoven 1560. This gave us perfectly even surfaces", explains Tomasz Siejk, who managed the project. It is clear that the effort has paid off: even on bright days, you can see the flawless craftsmanship from every angle through the large windows.

The client was so impressed with the result of the trusting collaboration that she also warmly recommended Pat&Mat to her neighbors. "It´s no exaggeration to talk about a real wow effect", summarizes Tomasz Siejk.
