The modern and architecturally impressive Reggeveste office complex in Rijssen was completed in 2009. Almost 15 years later, the Rijssen-based painting company Gerald Janssen was commissioned to renovate the interior of the building in collaboration with the architectural firm Reitsema & partners. High standards were set, also in terms of work safety and atmosphere - which were fully met with a coordinated selection of Brillux products.

Many wall surfaces in the offices and atrium were wallpapered with Lightvlies Pro 130 and coated with Superlux 3000. This combination of products guarantees hard-wearing and even surfaces. The high-quality, highly opaque interior dispersion paint is ideal for larger surfaces thanks to its long open time and guarantees excellent results even in grazing light. In addition, the brilliance of the new paint contributes to a noticeably brighter atmosphere throughout the building.

But it wasn´t just the walls and ceilings that needed freshening up: over the years, UV radiation had left its mark on the windows, frames and other wooden surfaces near the windows. "After sanding and degraying, we gave the affected surfaces a new shine with Lacryl-PU Wood Sealer 262", explains Gerald Janssen. The satin matt acrylate-based varnish provides particularly durable and decorative protection for wood surfaces for years to come.

The large-scale project took some time: Over 5,000 square meters of wall surface, more than 2,000 square meters of ceiling surface and around 1,000 linear meters of window wood were completely refurbished with high-quality renovation paints. Gerald Janssen: "We made good use of the long construction period to plan the construction site logistics together with Brillux, to carefully prepare the respective work and to coordinate optimally with wallpaperers and other trades."
