Duka AG demonstrated the courage to be extravagant with the renovation of its company headquarters in Brixen. It was clear from the start: the interior wall needed to be an eye-catcher. Painter Thomas Delmonego opted for Superlux 3000 as the key product to bring out the specified color scheme. “The shower enclosure manufacturer’s building already had a very modern look from the outside, and we wanted to emphasize this on the inside as well,” says the painter, outlining the requirements.
Right from the entrance area, the Superlux interior dispersion proved to be essential. The entrance area features ceilings up to six meters high and huge wall surfaces. Ideal conditions for Superlux to show off its strengths: the dull matt interior dispersion performs well with its long open time and very good coverage. Even with large window fronts with a lot of incident light, this prevents grazing light. For that little touch extra, the painters first primed the wall surfaces with Wall Primer Coarse 3728.
The design of the visitor washrooms also catches the eye. In addition to the design with Superlux, the skilled craftspeople worked with the golden effect paint Creativ Lucento. To protect the metallic surface appearance against spray water, they also coated these walls with the colorless 2K-Aqua Silk Matt Enamel 2388.
Visitors will find the exact opposite in the bar. An intense black tone characterizes the design of the ceiling there. The semi-gloss dispersion Sedagloss 993 was chosen for its high durability and cleanability.
The design of the stairwells, on the other hand, is diverse. Here, the planners chose a color-blocking style design. Rose-colored areas meet pink, gray meets light green. The painters applied Superlux in ten different colors on the various floors – inviting visitors on a journey of discovery through the building.
