This wonderful private residence is in Loosdorf, a market town with almost 4000 residents in the Melk district in Lower Austria. This district is the largest in the Pielach valley in the Lower Austrian foothills of the Alps and rising population figures show it is becoming increasingly popular. The market town area covers 12 square kilometers, of which almost 20 percent is forested. A small river flows through the town. In addition to a high school, church, several castles and the ever-present nature, the large private home blends in perfectly with its muted green tones. The facades, exterior window frames and stucco decoration were filled using powder adhesive and the facade was replastered and then painted. The exterior window frames were painted off-white. They stand out, but are not too much of a contrast. The lion heads were deliberately highlighted in an accented brick red color. The simple but powerful color design fits perfectly into the surrounding environment and the work itself went smoothly.
