Stone interpretation technique Slate technique 5c05

The Slate Technique 5c05 can be used to accurately replicate the typical characteristics of natural slate. In the first step, latex plastic matt ELF 904 is applied across the entire surface onto the smooth substrate and intensively, individually textured with the Sudeten Filler Knife 1197, then lightly smoothed again with the Double Blade Spatula 1289. To complete the illusion, the relief-like texture is recoated with a thin layer in slate color shades after drying.
